Ancient Wayves River and Hiking Adventures Information

Tours are conducted in the historical Bears Ears National Monument and on the San Juan River in Utah.

Amongst picturesque landscapes full of Indigenous history and culture is where we provide unique guided adventures.

Within the Bear's Ears National Monument, along the mystical waters of the San Juan River and amongst the redlands of Monument Valley is where Ancient Wayves adventures with guests. Activities we do are river rafting, hiking, backpacking & photography tours.

We are 100% Indigenous owned (Dine), with a team of guides and staff from different Indigenous backgrounds.  We roam the lands where the Hopi, Ute, Paiute, Zuni, Dine (Navajo) and many other Pueblo nations once thrived and sang songs. Our team is honored and privileged to lead tours in our ancestral homelands.

This majestic corner of Utah draws visitors from all over the world with its spectacular remnants of ancient civilizations (ancestral sites & petroglyphs).

Along with vast history of the people, there are exquisite geologic formations that are in the area which emit awe and wonder. Every tour is a scenic adventure.
