We-Ko-Pa Casino Resort is a Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation-owned resort destination in Fort McDowell, Arizona, surrounded by the Sonoran Desert and McDowell Mountains northeast of Scottsdale. The resort combines hotel accommodations, gaming, dining, golf, wellness, entertainment and conference facilities within the Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation's homeland.
The name We-Ko-Pa reflects the property's connection to the Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation and its cultural heritage. The resort serves both leisure travelers and business groups while providing visitors with access to other Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation enterprises and outdoor experiences throughout the surrounding desert.
GAMING
The We-Ko-Pa Casino offers a smoke-free gaming environment with approximately 900 slot machines, table games, live bingo and a sportsbook. Table games include blackjack, roulette, baccarat, Pai Gow and poker variations.
The casino's bingo hall features electronic bingo machines, large LED displays and other modern gaming technology. The WKP Sportsbook provides sports viewing and wagering throughout the year.

GOLF
The award-winning We-Ko-Pa Golf Club is located adjacent to the resort and features two championship 18-hole courses.
Cholla Course is a par-72 course measuring approximately 7,225 yards and features a target-style layout through the Sonoran Desert.
Saguaro Course measures approximately 6,966 yards and is a par-71 course designed by Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw. The course emphasizes the natural desert terrain and provides expansive views of the surrounding mountains.
Both courses were designed without residential development along the fairways, preserving broad views of the desert landscape.
SPA & RECREATION
Amethyst Spa provides a full-service wellness experience inspired by the surrounding Sonoran Desert. Services include massages, body treatments, skincare and other spa therapies. Spa guests can also access the resort's fitness facilities.
The resort features a heated outdoor pool with two whirlpools and private poolside cabanas. The pool is generally open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., although hours may vary seasonally.
The resort's location also provides convenient access to Fort McDowell Adventures, where visitors can experience horseback riding, desert tours and other outdoor activities.
DINING
We-Ko-Pa offers a variety of dining experiences ranging from fine dining to quick-service meals.
Ember is the resort's signature fine-dining restaurant, specializing in prime steaks, seafood and other upscale dishes. The restaurant features a whiskey library, wine selections and a piano lounge. In 2026, Ember became the first tribally owned restaurant in Arizona to receive the AAA Four Diamond Restaurant designation.
The Buffet offers an all-you-can-eat dining experience with multiple international-inspired stations.
Ahnala provides casual American comfort food and coffee, with breakfast and lunch selections.
WKP Sports & Entertainment combines sports viewing, casual dining and live entertainment. The venue hosts trivia, DJs, musicians and other events throughout the week.
The Market provides quick-service breakfast, lunch and dinner options, including rotisserie chicken, burgers, paninis, daily specials and baked goods.
Additional food and beverage options are available throughout the casino and resort.
ENTERTAINMENT & EVENTS
We-Ko-Pa regularly hosts live entertainment, special events and performances. WKP Sports & Entertainment provides a dedicated venue for live music, DJs, trivia and other programming.

The Wassaja Conference Center provides approximately 25,000 square feet of flexible meeting and event space, including a large ballroom and multiple breakout rooms. The facility can accommodate conferences, conventions, corporate meetings, weddings, banquets and other large-scale events.
Event services include audiovisual support, catering, event planning and customizable room configurations. The largest ballroom provides approximately 18,000 square feet of event space, while the resort can accommodate events with up to approximately 1,800 guests depending on configuration.
