Located between Albuquerque and Santa Fe near historic U.S. Route 66, Pueblo de Cochiti Golf Course offers a scenic and memorable golf experience set within the high desert foothills of northern New Mexico. Owned and operated on the lands of Cochiti Pueblo, this 18-hole championship course was designed by renowned architect Robert Trent Jones Jr. and has been celebrated since its opening in 1981 for its thoughtful layout, sweeping mountain views and desert-framed fairways.
ABOUT PUEBLO DE COCHITI GOLF CLUB
The course winds through rolling terrain and juniper-dotted hills, revealing panoramic views of the Jemez Mountains and Cochiti Lake in the distance. Golfers of all skill levels find the design both engaging and approachable, with strategic challenges balanced by the natural beauty of the surroundings. After a round, the clubhouse, pro shop and Stone Kiva Bar & Grill provide a welcoming place to relax and take in the expansive New Mexico sky.
More than a golf destination, Pueblo de Cochiti Golf Course reflects a deep connection to land that resonates with the heritage of Cochiti Pueblo and the broader cultural landscape of the region. Its desert mountain setting invites travelers to combine outdoor recreation with appreciation for the storied terrain that has shaped Indigenous lifeways for generations.
