Harvest Land is an agricultural and sustainability initiative operated by the Osage Nation. The farm and greenhouse complex supports food production, environmental education and community programs focused on sustainable agriculture.
ABOUT HARVEST LAND
Located in Osage County, the facility was developed as part of the Nation’s efforts to promote food sovereignty, agricultural training and environmental stewardship. Harvest Land combines traditional agricultural practices with modern farming technologies to support local food systems and provide educational opportunities for tribal citizens and community partners.
The site includes orchards, greenhouses and specialized program facilities that allow the Osage Nation to expand food production while exploring innovative agricultural techniques.

GREENHOUSE & AGRICULTURE
One of the major features of Harvest Land is its 40,000-square-foot greenhouse, where plants and crops can be grown in a controlled environment throughout the year.
The greenhouse supports:
Year-round fruit and vegetable production
Agricultural research and crop cultivation
Educational programs related to sustainable farming
Plant propagation and greenhouse horticulture
In addition to the greenhouse, the farm includes an orchard with fruit and nut trees, contributing to the site’s broader agricultural production and educational programming.
AQUAPONICS & FOOD SYSTEMS
Harvest Land also features a 44,000-square-foot program building designed for agricultural training and food system development.
The facility includes:
A large aquaponics system that integrates fish cultivation with hydroponic plant growth
A food processing area used to prepare and package locally produced foods
A water laboratory supporting research and monitoring related to agricultural systems and water quality
These facilities allow the Osage Nation to explore innovative approaches to food production while supporting community-based agriculture initiatives.
